I'm currently developing ASM developer tools for Eclipse, focusing on Mega Drive/Genesis development for the moment (previously I wanted to make my own IDE, but at the rate things were going, it would have taken way too much time...), and since I started that project, I've been thinking Exodus would make the perfect debugger. If a GDB-compatible interface turns out to be inconvenient, I could look into developing the necessary Eclipse plug-ins to interface with Exodus.
As Exodus is focused on accuracy it makes sense to use it as development tool :) StillI i understand that is a feature which will be used by a very few people (compared to gaming)... It would be awesome to have a specific plugin for Eclipse then later we could probably have a "all-in-one" package to develop on Sega Genesis featuring Eclipse + plugin + Exodus + SGDK pre configured :)
